EAGLEPICHER HOLDINGS, INC. AND EAGLEPICHER INCORPORATED ANNOUNCE FORBEARANCE AGREEMENT WITH CREDIT AGREEMENT LENDERS

Also Announce Making Interest Payment on Senior Notes and Extension of Filing of 10-K

PHOENIX, Arizona, February 28, 2005 – EaglePicher Holdings, Inc. (“EP Holdings”) and EaglePicher Incorporated (“EPI” and together with EP Holdings, “EaglePicher”) announced that EPI has entered into a forbearance agreement with its credit agreement lenders. Pursuant to this agreement, the lenders agreed to forbear from exercising any remedies as a result of EPI’s previously announced covenant noncompliance under its credit agreement through June 10, 2005 and to continue funding EPI’s revolving credit facility through that date in its full amount of $125 million, provided that no new defaults occur. In connection with this forbearance agreement, Granaria Holdings B.V. and ABN AMRO Participaties B.V., which collectively control 100% and beneficially own approximately 84% of EP Holdings’ common stock, purchased a $12,187,500 junior participation in EPI’s revolving credit facility, the amount of EPI’s March 1, 2005 interest payment on its 9.75% Senior Notes due 2013. Granaria also agreed to defer payment on its $1.75 million annual management fee through June 10, 2005.

OHB-SYSTEM AG SELECTS EAGLEPICHER NICKEL-HYDROGEN SPACECRAFT BATTERY FOR SAR-LUPE RECONNAISSANCE SATELLITE SYSTEM

JOPLIN, Missouri, December 14, 2004 ⎯ The Defense and Space Power Division of EaglePicher Technologies, LLC announced that its nickel-hydrogen (NiH2) Single Pressure Vessel (SPV) battery has been selected by Bremen-based space technology company OHB-System AG to power SAR-Lupe, the future German satellite system for radar image reconnaissance. The order was received by German-based Diehl & Eagle Picher GmbH and is valued at €2.7Mio ($3.6M US). The launch of the first of five satellites is planned for 2005 with a Russian launcher; the overall system will be completed in 2007 to deliver radar images for the German Federal Armed Forces until 2015.

EAGLEPICHER BROADENS PORTFOLIO OF LITHIUM-ION POWER SOLUTIONS WITH ACQUISITION OF KOKAM ENGINEERING

PHOENIX, Ariz., December 3, 2004 − EaglePicher Incorporated today announced that it has completed its acquisition of a controlling interest in Kokam Engineering Company, Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea), a manufacturer of advanced rechargeable lithium-ion battery technology. EaglePicher’s power strategy dictates that it broaden its portfolio of lithium-ion solutions. Kokam’s advanced battery product designs and automated manufacturing technology place EaglePicher at the forefront of this technology. The Kokam business will operate under the name of EaglePicher Kokam Ltd., and its products will be sold under the EaglePicher brand.

EAGLEPICHER INCORPORATED AND KOKAM ENGINEERING SIGN ACQUISITION AND LICENSING AGREEMENTS

PHOENIX, Ariz., October 4, 2004 − EaglePicher Incorporated has signed an agreement to acquire a controlling interest in Kokam Engineering Company, Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea), a manufacturer of advanced rechargeable lithium-ion battery technology. The transaction is expected to close in December 2004. Additionally, EaglePicher has signed an exclusive agreement to license Kokam’s technology for government applications worldwide. EaglePicher will sell Kokam products globally outside of North Asia for industrial, commercial, and selected defense applications. In addition, Kokam will distribute selected EaglePicher-branded products in North Asia.

EAGLEPICHER SELLS SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTS BUSINESS UNIT TO EP SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTS LLC

PHOENIX, Ariz., April 28, 2004 – EaglePicher Incorporated announced that its subsidiary EaglePicher Technologies, LLC has sold its Scientific Products business unit to EP Scientific Products LLC, a subsidiary of Apogent Technologies Inc. [NYSE: AOT], for approximately $23 million. The Scientific Products business, located in Miami, Okla., is a leading global supplier of ultra-clean glassware, plasticware and cleaning and treating services for containers used in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology, semiconductor and environmental industries.

EAGLEPICHER SECURES Li/MnO2 CONTRACT WITH US ARMY CECOM

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 8, 2004, EaglePicher Energy Products Corporation (EPEPC), a subsidiary of EaglePicher, Defense and Space Power Division of Joplin, Missouri, announced today that it has received a five-year, multi-million dollar contract to supply its Next Gen II, Phase III, Large Cell, Lithium Manganese Dioxide (Li/MnO2) Batteries, to the United States Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM). EPEPC, a major manufacturer of Lithium Sulfur Dioxide (LiSO2) Batteries, currently supplies CECOM with the Li/SO2 version of these batteries, under its existing Next Gen II, Phase I, LiSO2 contract.

EAGLEPICHER TECHNOLOGIES TO SUPPLY BATTERIES TO ADVANCED NEUROMODULATION SYSTEMS

PHOENIX, Ariz., April 7, 2004 – EaglePicher Technologies, LLC today announced a long-term supply agreement under which EaglePicher will supply Advanced Neuromodulation Systems, Inc. (ANS) (NASDAQ: ANSI) with rechargeable lithium ion batteries, as well as the lithium thionyl chloride batteries ANS uses today in its Genesis™ and Genesis XP™ Totally Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) Spinal Cord Stimulators. Under the agreement, EaglePicher will also continue to develop certain future generation batteries for ANS. Specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
